Mr. Antonis Mavropoulos , CEO of D-Waste, was a key speaker in the 2nd edition of White Minds event which was held in Athens in 5th of April.

10 great minds, discussed , shared stories of their lives and disseminate knowledge in the fields of communications, technology, media and design, to students of major universities and educational institutions. Over 2,500 university students and young people, curious minds and thirsty for knowledge joined this event.

In the stage of 2nd White Minds, he spoke through pictures and music for the numerous trips of his life. He highlighted his love for mathematics and chemistry and described how they helped him in his professional career. He explained that each country has its own needs, so the solutions of the problems cannot be derived from models copy-paste. He also advised students to strongly believe in their ideas.

 

D-Waste's Experts , Ms Aida Anthouli and Mr. Alexandros Mavropoulos performed two outstanding presentations on the Workshop entitled "Career Development in Executives in Solid Waste Management Field - SWFM-QF", organized by the National Association of Environmental Protection Firms, which took place in 7th of March. Ms Anthouli presented the legislative framework in Greece for SWM and the new National Solid Waste Management Plan while Mr. Mavropoulos presented New technologies in solid waste management field.

In the 12th of March, Mr. Marios Skarvelakis participated in the 3nd Sustainability Week at The American College of Greece, focused on "Health, Waste and Technology". In the session dedicated to Computers and Waste Management, Mr. Skarvelakis presented "Mobile Apps in the Waste Management Sector”.
